Structure and Working Principle

A rotary kiln support roller system typically consists of support rollers, support roller shafts, bearing chocks, and base plates. The support rollers themselves are large cast or forged steel components that mounted on the support roller shafts via bearings, they are arranged in pairs to support the kiln’s riding rings.
During operation, the support rollers rotate under the drive of a transmission mechanism, they drive the kiln tyre on the kiln body through frictional force, thereby enabling the massive kiln shell to rotate at a uniform speed. As the kiln rotates, the weight of the kiln shell and its contents is evenly distributed onto the support rollers. This ensures that the kiln rotates smoothly and maintains its alignment, preventing undue strain on other components of the kiln system.
